A few days after announcing the Honor 6X
Nougat Beta program for the US, Huawei have started pushing out the
beta update build to interested parties in the country. The update is followed up by an email detailing how to report bugs.
The testers can revert back to the
Marshmallow based EMUI 4.1 after installing the Nougat Beta build EMUI
5.0 which is sizeable at ~2.3GB. The change-log provided by the company
is quite detailed and lengthy as attested by this tweet.

The Honor 6X was recently launched in India exclusively on Amazon India as
part of a brace of launches focussing on strengthening the brand in the
lower end of the market. The device featuring an Octa-core Kirin
processor, 3 GB of RAM, 32/64 GB of storage with support for expansion
via microSD cards up to 256 GB with a 5.5-inch IPS display at 1920 x1080
resolution.
The device features a
dual-SIM, dual stand-by system both capable of 4G VoLTE and is powered
by a non-removable 3340mAh battery. Out of the box the device runs on
Android Marshmallow based EMUI 4.0 but Huawei has promised an update to
Android Nougat based EMUI 5.0 sometime in the future. This news confirms
