It comes with a 5-inch display like its predecessor Xperia XA. Under the hood, it is powered by an Octa-core 4×2.3 GHz Mediatek MT6757 Helio P20 processor along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that you can expand up to 256GB via a microSD card. It runs on Android Nougat and features a non-removable Li-Ion 2300 mAh battery. In terms of optics, this mid-range phone sports a stunning 23 MP rear cam with f/2.0, phase detection and laser autofocus and LED flash. On the front there is a nice 8 MP selfie snapper with f/2.0, 23mm, autofocus, 1/4″ sensor size.

Sony Xperia XA1 und XA1 UltraIts sibling, the Xperia XA1 Ultra has a bigger 6-inch FHD with the resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It sports also a 23MP primary camera, but comes with a better front snapper of 16MP. At heart it is backed up with the same processor as the Sony Xperia XA1. However, it features more memory, there are two variants available 4GB of RAM paired with 32GB or 64GB. Other sepcs include a non-removable Li-Ion 2700 mAh battery, runs on Android Nougat, and a fingerprint sensor.

Sony Xperia XA1 and XA1 Ultra: Price and Availability

Both phones are coming with beautiful colors: White, Black Gold and Pink. The first, Xperia XA1 will be available in the middle of April with the latest generation Android 7.0 (nougat) in black and white for 279 EUR. The Xperia XA1 Ultra will be available in the middle of May 2017 with the latest Android version 7.0 in black and white for about 379 EUR. Excellent specs for little money!
