World’s first 5G smartphone announced by ZTE at MWC!

With increasing app sizes and increasing resolution for videos, a faster data connection is the need for the hour. 4G LTE is the fastest data connection option we have presently but ZTE has gone a step further and introduced the World’s first 5G smartphone.

The device is called the “Super Generation Gigabit”and boasts speeds upto 1Gbps!

The device is powered by a Snapdragon 835 SoC and integrates X16 LTE modem, utilizes a combination of carrier aggregation, 4×4 MIMO antenna technology, and 256-QAM modulation to achieve LTE download speeds that are up to 10x faster than LTE devices.

ZTE’s technology strength is amazing in 5G+Pre5G Giga+ MBB solutions and hence the ZTE Gigabit phone is three times as powerful at data processing capability in the current network. This is an important step from ZTE and introducing 5G to 4G networks and providing worldwide careers with Pre 5G solutions.

5G will refine the smartphone experience a lot and bring it to a whole new level. The speed of 1Gbps will improve users’ lifestyles by allowing for 360° panoramic VR video, instant cloud storage, fast downloads of ultra Hi-Fi music and movies, and instant APP, which removes the need for download or installation of applications.
